Third Eye Theatre Ensemble will present a digital live double bill on Oct. 17, 2020.

The performance will feature Juliet Palmer’s “Stitch” and Alexandra Enyart’s “Witness.” The cast includes Rena Ahmed, Angela Born, Mary Lutz Govertsen, and Alexandra Enyart.

“Stich,” an a cappella opera for three voices and three sewing machines, tells the story of three women trapped in manufacturing for the oppressive fast fashion industry. In “Witness,” Enyart explores transgender identity and what it means to live “unseen.”

“60 percent of trans people attempt suicide and my goal is to lower that number. This project is about my personal battle to not become part of that 60 percent,” said Enyart on the official website. “I am taking the imperfect action I can take to tell stories that can be meaningful and relevant to the audiences that see them.”
